Well I was out last Saturday entertaining family visiting from California, and it sounds like I missed some great golf. Joel was in a zone according to Russell. He shot a 79!! Russell shot an 84 and Bob had an 86. Higgy came in last with a 106. Waterchase is a great course and can be chakllenging, so kudos to all the guys.
I will be doing a community project this coming Saturday feeding the homeless at Unity Park in Fort Worth with my wife. I am really looking forward to the following Saturday, no matter where we are playing.

We miss Frank and Frank's quarters! Play at Waterchase was good and as always the course was in good shape!
ReplyDeleteUpdate on Anette's venture into the world of golf........she had three lessons from Troy (God Bless you Troy)....and we have went to driving range to practice after each session. To my amazment she is doing very well....
She rarely swings and misses now.....she understands (basically) the reason for some many different clubs and their usage...and she likes the putting the best......after all putting is the most important aspect to better scores.
She loves her new clubs...thanks to a trip to the retreat.....especially they weigh less and are "pretty"
Lastly...she has stumbled into the truth...when she exclaimed after hitting a bucket of balls and not wanting to stop........" this is addictive, now I know why you want to go hit balls, so often"
I believe...Snead, Hogan, Byron, and Jones are looking down from heaven and are smiling and clapping?
